3.3.7.7. Modify Field

Within the SharePortals Record Management interface you can perform the following updates on an existing Field associated with a Record Type:

1. Modify the Field name by typing in a new name
2. Setting the Field to be required when a user is saving changes to the entity record

Advanced Field Modifications

We provide a link to a SharePoint screen for each field via the Advanced button. This can be used to set advanced options on the field types added to a Record Type. For choice fields for example, this is the most convenient way to specify what choices you want, or for numeric fields setting decimal places defaults.
