4.1.9.2. Searching the List View

SharePortals provides Filter function at the top right of all its entity lists, allowing the user to quickly and easily search for specific records added by you or your organisation.

Selecting ‘Filter’ will present text inputs below the header of each searchable column:

When you enter a search string in any of the input fields and hit the return key. The list will reduce to items matching the search string. To return to the full list click on ‘Clear Filter’ at the top right of the list.

!The search box will check all entries in the displayed list for results, however particularly large lists may contain some data that isn’t automatically downloaded from the server until later pages of the list have been accessed. In these circumstances, search results for that server-side data will not be displayed.
