3.2.2.5. Remove Views

You can remove any views that are no longer needed, whether they are custom ones built by yourself, or the default views provided by SharePortals.

!Users require the ManageLists SharePoint permission in order to be able to remove views.

• Click the “View this list in SharePoint” button for the entity type you want to remove the view from, e.g. Opportunities.
• Now click the settings cog at the top right of the window, and select Library Settings:
  
• Scroll down to the Views list, and click the name of the view you want to remove.

!You can only delete a view if it isn’t currently applied as the default view for the record type. Switch to a different view first, then continue with these steps after a different view has been applied as the default.

• Click the Delete button on the Edit View screen to remove the view.
