Next, we want to record a phone call we received from the customer in SharePortals. As the phone call is specifically related to a Company we have created, we log it in the Company record.

  • First click on the Companies menu item from the top of the SharePortals page to take us to our list of Companies. Alternatively, use the search function to locate the record.
  • Select the relevant record to open it and view its details.
  • Then click on the Calls tab on the right-hand side of the page:

  • Currently, no phone calls have been logged against this company. We can click on the green Add Call button to create one.
  • This presents a form for us to fill in with details about the call:

  • With the relevant details added, click the green Save button to log the call details against the record.
