When importing CSV or Excel data in to the SharePortals application, a log file is generated and stored in order to review any potential issues with individual records. This file is only generated once an import is completed.
Each log file is generated with a file name which indicates the Entity name, the date, and the time. In the example above this is:
Entity: SharePortals Account
Time: 4:07:07 (PM)
To access a log file, simply click on the file Title and the XLS document created will open in your browsers configured application, typically Excel. Ensure Sheet1 is open and you will see the entry for each attempt to generate an Entity Record, along with a Status column which will be populated with the value Imported if successful, or an error message if there has been an issue.
