3.1.5. Microsoft Licensing Requirements

User of SharePortals require at minimum either a SharePoint Online Plan 1 license, or a Microsoft Office 365 plan which includes SharePoint Online Plan 1 including:

• Microsoft 365 Business Basic
• Microsoft 365 Business Standard
• Microsoft 365 Business Premium
• Microsoft 365 E3
• Microsoft 365 E5
• Microsoft 365 F3

There are also a number of Government, Education, and Not-for-Profit Microsoft Office 365 plans and standalone plans which include the necessary SharePoint licensing, as well as additional compatible services, including Power BI, Power Automate Flow plans, AI Builder, RPA, Power Apps, and more.
